Fitted with a 6 cyl Mirlees Blackstone main engine.

Unfortunately details mislaid, unloading silica and for the glass works at Irvine circa late eighties or early nineties Harbour areas were much easier to access then. On a pilgrimage to that gem on the Clyde "Scotland in miniature", might even have been as a passenger on the Caledonian Isles. Archie

Hi Graham, Remember those days at Ardrossan very well, in dock I can recognise the Kildonnan or Arran dependent on the photograph date, with the Lairdscrest or Lairdswood at the then Belfast berth. In the dockyard it could possibly be a Coe coaster do not recognise the other berthed at the 15ton cra...
