Building at Scotts' just as I was starting my eng. app. The Egori used same hull design and was first to have the turbo charged Doxford built by Scotts' and fitted.

Launching postponed due to gales at Greenock, launched finally on Saturday April 22 1954. Got a ticket to see the launch and took my girl friend on second date to see it!

I bought the book on publication. He was pretty scathing about the senior management of some UK shipbuilders. His comments resounds with some I heard on my return from Hyundai at Korea, "we at Lithgows taught them how to build ships, and how could they compete living on bowl of rice a day!" That was...

That is taken when she is in Scott's own drydock, East India harbour and crane out side the wall in the background. The sheds along west side of the dock is where Clyde Marine Motoring offices are sited now.

Last shot of my pride and joy on the Clyde before emigrating to the Furry Boots City in Oct 1977, madam skipper aloft. I suppose can qualify for Clyde built as was only a shell when I bought her, after much labour and expense this is the result.

Many thanks all. This one was in Holland all my time there Aug 1985-Oct 1988. I took photos of Victual also, she was one of the larger size puffers. Also took Enegesund at Haugesund, she was a lenghened 90 footer also.

Has anyone being able to positively ident. the att. I saw her at Holland from Aug. 1985- Oct. 1988. This was taken at the annual " Dord in Stoom" festival from our rear balcony! Talk about a ringside seat.
