I flew into Southampton this morning and we passed over the Ocean Cruise Terminal where the positively tiny Waverley was berthed adjacent to the massive Queen Mary 2.

Just when you think the season is finished!
Silversea Cruises’ Silver Wind is calling at GOT tomorrow, arriving at 7.00am from Belfast and sailing at 6.00pm for Torshavn, Faroe Islands.
She is on a one way trip from London Tilbury to Reykjavik, but her original itinerary seems to have been re-jigged.

Regal Princess is likely to encounter rough seas during her passage towards Greenock and potentially this could delay her arrival into GOT until 9.00am or 9.30am tomorrow.

Second picture down explains why I didn't see the Clyde Clipper at Victoria Harbour on Sunday!
SP II made the press last week after colliding with a few yachts in Dartmouth harbour.

Timing change for MSC Meraviglia. Now in at 10.00am at GOT. Let’s hope it’s a decent day and that it does the turn in front of the Esplanade before arrival rather than at departure!

It looks as if someone missed the boat tonight! After Mein Schiff 3 left GOT, one of her tenders had to be lowered and possibly went back to collect the German visitor(s).

On Sunday, Artania has again decided that GOT is a better option to the Holy Loch. She arrives at 9.00am and sails at 10.00pm.

Looks familiar! Apart from calling at Greenock last year, she is the former Artemis of P&O Cruises and before that, Royal Princess of Princess Cruises. She has been at Greenock in their livery as well.

The three vessels appear to be in cold lay up and are not mentioned in any of the Leith websites or AIS. Two of the names are easy to spot from Ocean Drive, but it's the hidden one I'm seeking the name of.

If Peel Ports won't sell the land at Inchgreen to Ferguson Marine Engineering, largely because it might put Cammell Laird at a competitive disadvantage, a bridge over the Clyde between Renfrew and Yoker might then pose a problem for Ferguson Marine if they were contemplating seeking planning permiss...

Yes, I saw them passing Greenock esplanade at 7.45am today and then went for a closer look at Custom House Quay. She looked to be just about empty. Anglegarth had a line attached from her stern.

North Ayrshire Council don't seem to give a damn about tourism in their area.
They closed the public toilets on Arran this year, but fortunately the local community have got together and have reopened a number of them.

The aerial view only serves to remind me of the absolute delight as ship enthusiast of travelling to and from work in town on the number 4 Corporation bus from Drumoyne passing the Govan Drydock, Princes Dock and Kingston Dock. These were the days!
