Henk I have a postcard with a mosquito on that was supposed to have been built on Victoria Dock Hull and saved it because they are to open a small museum in an old winding house at Earles shipyard could this be the one

This is a regular Job Gillian Knight is ploughing the from the old Lock entrance to Victoria Dock the turning area used by barges to turn and drop up the River Hull on the tide. This enables them to come head downriver on the Tide used mainly by Rix Eagle , Swinderby and Paragon , others occasionall...

Staincliffe was one of British Waterways Sheffield fleet and skippered by Ernie (kitty) Cattle for a number of years in my early Youth. Ernie was later made Foreman on Hull Docks by BW and Staincliffe joined the rest of the fleet under the Hammer
