Re: New CMRT website and database

Well done guys –

As the intention for my retirement (pending) is to study “The Clyde”, having memories of sailing down the Clyde in the 1960’s plus many years of summers at Rothesay, I totally applaud this project.

MV PALANPUR appears about 750 miles out of Norfolk Virginia. Average speed over the last few days around 10 knots, so arrival at Norfolk around 1300hrs on 9th December? (Please, somebody, anybody - check the maths!). Upon arrival at Norfolk, MV Palanpur is to pick up a cargo of six locomotives. Thes...

Reckon CITY OF ADELAIDE, aboard MV PALANPUR, appears as being approx half-way across the Atlantic, heading for her destination of Norfolk Virginia.

The argument at this time seems to be that the UK Government is “cow-towing” to Scotland, to the extent that if we vote against independence, we will benefit. Several references above to the "Bar" - assuming it's not a remote licenced premise somewhere in the river estuary, is it a sandbank? How far out is it? The estuary contours on AIS always remind me of a rib-cage with the sternum missing!
