Re: Three Tugs in Rothesay Bay

Many thanks - doesn't help when the Navy boats don't show up on AIS. Quite - very inconsiderate! Saw HMCS Preserver and at least one other Canadian ship lower down the Clyde yesterday and no AIS. Earlier, in the far distance it look like HMS Illustrious and Bulwark were also playing about down by A...

Noticed it slow in the mornings. I'll keep an eye on it. Most likely to be an issue at the data centre where the server is located. Recent events in the USA have also generated extra web traffic which isn't helping.

Re: WAVERLEY 2013

The way I've always looked at things is that it is far better to have 100 folk attending an event at £1 than have 10 attend at £10. Secondary spend will always be an added bonus, and if they enjoy themselves then you've got 100 folk passing on a recommendation. But, in WEL's case the question has go...

Just catching up with the whole of this thread, but tend to agree with Clydebuilt re how WEL/WSN respond to things. A Trust has been set up with the aim to return TS Queen Mary to a permanent berth on the Clyde. The project actually is quite far advanced, as they undertook a lot of work last year, before recently "going public". They have a technical team in place and a board of Trustees that includes the former ...

Got one as well. Went straight to the bin. I noted though it came from a live.com email address which is not Jim's regular one as far as I am aware. Like Duncan, seen a few of these recently, and you'd be advised to change the password to something pretty strong if it has come from an account you use.
