15-12-2013 : At Ayr today : EEMS SPACE and WILSON CADIZ

Blustery day down at Ayr Harbour today, lot of sand blowing around, hard to keep eyes open with all the grit flying around. The only 'fall' I have not had in the last year and a half is into the sea ..... came close today however :roll:

Two small coasters came in during the night or early hours - M.V. EEMS SPACE and M.V. WILSON CADIZ

Knowing what the weather was like in Glasgow (quick and marked deterioration from noon onwards), must have been bad in Ayr.

Don't know about that, Allan, dedication to irresponsibility more like! I was in the same spot two weeks ago and took a tumble down three steps, removing a large section of facial skin in the process, and had a job driving home with the blood running down and into my right eye. Last week when down again, I had a look at the place where I fell and could not believe the extent of bloodstains I left behind on these steps - a different form of maritime-related pollution, but pollution nevertheless, even if it was of the high-quality Hebridean variety :lol:
