Got this in an Email yesterday. She's not too bad, a bigger ARGYLE/ BUTE I would say. Take it she's not here yet.

AIS shows her down to 5.4 knots passing abeam Uig on Skye. I assume that she must be running into some nasty weather rather then deliberately delaying her arrival ?

PS at 11:30 back up to 14 knots off Loch Dunvegan

Now (15.50) off Ardnamurchan and making 16.2 knots. With about 37 nm to go, she'll not be in Oban until a bit after 6pm.

Hope we've got a ClydeMaritime photographer on hand to record the event.

Currently circling west of Kerrera I presume she is waiting for a clear berth with Lord of the Isles alongside and Isle of Mull heading in north of Kerrera

Now entering Oban Bay and looks as if she might be coming to the North Pier - EE-Usk webcam shows a welcoming party gathered there.

Hi Patrick, She'll be on the Kennacraig - Port Ellen route to begin with. Possibly also Port Askaig when they get the pier work done there.

After passing Lismore light just shortly after her eta at Oban, Finlaggan proceeded to bob around in the distance for an hour until Lord of the Isles and Isle of Mull had discharged and then departed Oban again.

Further photos from last night at Oban bay can be seen at http://charlesmccrossan.smugmug.com/Shi ... 0103_6tJHp
