QUEEN OF BERMUDA

Post by Deepol » Tue Aug 26, 2014 1:07 pm

Sister to MONARCH she was built by Vickers' yard at Barrow in 1933. She received a big refit at Harland and Wolff's yard in Belfast in the late 1950s emerging with a much altered profile.
Changes in sea travel meant this did not last long and she arrived at Faslane on December 6th 1966 to be broken up 12 days before her sister arrived in Spain to meet the same fate.
