Slide bought on Ebay of the paddler in a backdrop of modern London.
She was built at Southampton by Day, Summers and Company of Northam in 1927.
In 1966 following withdrawal she was bought for use as a floating casino. This did not materialise and after years in limbo became a restaurant on the Thames in 1970 which lasted till 1987 when she was taken to Paris and moored on the Seine as an art gallery.
She is still in France I believe at Dunkirk where she last visited in 1940 as one of the Little Ships rescuing the BEF.
