Remembering those lost when Herald of Free Enterprise foundered off Zeebrugge on March 6th 1987.

Another of the tragedies of the whole sad episode was that English Law, at that time, was not sufficient to cover corporate responsibility, and the case was thrown out by the Judge. The Law has since been changed so that those properly charged with such corporate negligence can be persued through the courts.
