Very nice Bob. Your Model of the 'Austerity' still has pride of place in our house.

Looking at the model of the 'Fort Amherst' which is equally impressive I'm just sorry my Bank Account is not sufficiently robust to be able to afford it!

One day I might be able to afford another one of your models.

If anyone is looking at Bobs model of the 'Fort Amherst' on ebay and is hovering I can vouch for Bob's skill as a model maker.

It may appear expensive but bear in mind the hours it has taken to build............

Thanks Paul,
Fort Amherst was quite complicated, but a very nice little passenger ship. Sofala was purely cargo, although the 'midship accommodation is rather large! I never knew British India had any ships that small. I was just flipping through my old shipbuilding journals when I came across the plan and decided to build it.
