Approaching Rhu Narrows 0800 hrs. this morning inwards for Faslane. :D

Really love the shots here Paul, nice and serene.
However, looking at these type 45's now, something has dawned on me and i have seen no mention of this elsewhere.
But...
...with the 3 masts, which is each 1 actually called.
We patently know the large fore mast with the climbing wall is, em, the fore mast.
So whose going to hazard names for the other 2, and do not get confused with the rather diminutive funnel.
That is simply the funnel. Probably.

Daring now has Phalanx fitted.
The midships sponsons p & s were designed to accomodate this.
This is the upgraded Phalanx 1B which has some extra refinements over the earlier system including ir.
Gather it took 2 weeks to install with 6 weeks of trials as 1st of class fit.
Existing systems can be upgraded while HMS York & RFA Fort Victoria already carry a pair of the 1B.
