The Gibraltar based MoD tug is now officially up for sale. She was seen on an official MoD tender notice in the local daily together with the harbour launches Agile and Cyclone plus the sullage lighter 1704U.

CAPABLE reported sold to Nature Port Reception Facilities Limited (part of the Nature Group plc, formerly SORT) along with a IMO waste reception barge, understood to be used for work in the bay.

I suppose the barge is 1704U.

Meanwhile, Molinary have apparently taken the pilot boat AGILE, and CYCLONE also sold (buyers unknown)

Thats correct although it is still unknown if the tug and lighter will be used by the Nature Group as there is taks of them being intermediates for another party. As for Cyclone, she has been bought by a local tours company who I suppose will turn her into a bay tour boat.

CAPABLE contd.... and still flying the RMAS Ensign! She has been bought by The Nature Group PLC, and no doubt will be undergoing full survey, repairs or similar to qualify for her seaworthiness certificate. Thereafter we should know what her tasks will be or whether it is the intention to take her away from Gibraltar....

240112 - SULLAGE LIGHTER 1704U : Last of the ex RMAS vessels, sold to the Nature Group. Was moved to the "pockets" and now believed to be in Cernaval, most probably for cleaning out prior to scrapping...
