Card of Terence Cuneo's painting and yes, the mouse is quite noticeable....
The ConDor or Container Door to Door service ran between Hendon in London and Gushetfaulds in Glasgow and was introduced in the late 1950s. It was formed of about 25 or so roller-bearing fitted long wheelbase flat wagons with two containers apiece.
In its early days it was hauled by two Metrovick Co-Bo diesels and if I recall could run at 70/75mph a fabulous speed for a freight in those days. Latterly it was powered by BR Type 2 locos later Class 24/25.
I can't remember when it stopped running but it certainly was still extant in 1965 because I used to make up monthly statistical graphs of its usage with rubber stamps made out as containers....
The next development was of course the Freightliner.
