Through the Gardens

A3 2565 MERRY HAMPTON coming through Princes Street Gardens with the Up Queen of Scots in LNER days. An unfortunate loco if I recall, being involved in a couple of accidents she was built by the North British Company at Springburn in 1924 and named after the 1887 Derby winner.
She later became LNER 66 under the Thompson renumbering and BR 60066. Her end came in September 1963.
