Climbing to Kinbuck

Post by Deepol » Tue Dec 12, 2017 10:11 am

Cutting of Britannia Pacific 70003 JOHN BUNYAN storming up to Kinbuck, north of Dunblane in the mid 1960s with the 9.25am from Crewe to Perth, a regular Britannia turn till December 1966.
Originally a Great Eastern allocated loco, along with other former GE Brits she ended her days at Kingmoor shed at Carlisle.

Another shot from a BR Eastern Region Staff Magazine of 70003 at Doncaster in her GE days. They did work as far North as York.
