Bulleid Battle of Britain class Pacific named after the wartime airfield taken at Waterloo in the mid 1960s with a late afternoon Bournemouth departure.
She came into traffic as 21C156 in February 1947 being renumbered on Nationalisation.
She was one of the batch scheduled for rebuilding this being done in December 1960 very late on. She had just less than 7 years in this condition being withdrawn at the end of Southern steam in 1967. She was cut up by Cashmore's at Newport.
