A couple of images from the stormy Clyde - http://www.dougie-coull-photography.co. ... 2011-05-23 - if you wish to view, and include the Lauren L - unable to anchor with the wind and seas.

Gerry's never around when you need him to hold your sticks :D

Anyone know what the vessel is here for. She passed Cumbrae this afternoon, but didn't board a pilot, so presumably has no passengers on board. Has Eck chartered her for a celebratory cruise perchance?

Hi Iain, from AIS history it looks as though she came into the Clyde for shelter. R

Picking up her pilot at 09:00 and then I believe she heads to KGV.

Its times like this you must feel lucky that you have the two sticks to keep you upright , I have just posted that LAUREN L is passing Port Glasgow heading upriver to Glasgow see AIS.
I would have been out yesterday if my boots had not been letting the water in.
EXCELLENT PICTURES

Just goes to show that I shouldn't assume anything from AIS data !

Thanks Gerry - I actually have three sticks - it's called a tripod :D

On a less frivolous note - http://www.dougie-coull-photography.co. ... 2011-05-24 - couple of pics from this morning.
