Taken from Queen of Scots I would think in July 1977 ADRASTUS in Elder Dempster colours off Port Glasgow. Named after the King of Argos (so we know now who to blame ) she was Tyneside built at Walker in 1953.
This was her last year as in 1978 she was sold becoming ANASSA and was scrapped on Gadani Beach where she arrived on 12th May 1981.

Where indeed, Paul - it's the same on Tyneside. When I started my apprenticeship in 1964 there were thirty operational dry-docks on the river - now there is one.

Seized by the German Navy whilst under construction at Burmeister & Wain in Copenhagen in 1940 Glengarry was eventually returned to the Glen Line in 1946 and took her original name which she retained until briefly becoming Blue Funnel's Dardanus in 1970. Seen here as Dardanus in Prince's Dock on 7 November 1970.

Rare visitor for central Glasgow was the JUPITER making her way upriver to berth at the east side of Yorkhill basin.
Also a rare event to have a visit from another passenger ship ANASTASIS berthed on the west side of the basin

PUERTO PRINCESA built in France at La Ciotat in 1970 as VILLE DE ROTTERDAM, taken in 1982 from Erskine Bridge.
She arrived at Kaohsiung on November 5th 1984 for scrapping.
