ITASCA, BUILT 1961 BY J K SMIT HOLLAND IMO-5357848 X CARIBISCHE ZEE X SMIT THAMES X THAMES III, FIRST CONVERTED TO PRIVATE USE IN 1980 AND JUST HAD ALOT OF WORK DONE TO HER SHE SURE IS VERY IMPRESSIVE,, BRIAN

Hi Brian,
As you say, an impressive conversion. I wonder if she has been re-engined? If not she must cost a fortune to run, as these deep sea tugs were always massively powered.

hi, david i was told yesterday she was not re engined just had work done to the one in her, brian

Thanks for that, Brian. She must cost a fortune to run, but if you've got that sort of money then maybe it doesn't matter!

I was at CHQ Brian - sorry we missed each other.

I tried to go to East India but the road was blocked where they are building the new restaurant and had to get around to CHQ - arrived just as she passed. I was very fortunate.
