Many thanks for the heads-up - vessel currently anchored about a mile north-east of Brodick.

Will have a look at her tomorrow.

AURILIA now safely berthed at Shieldhall – unfortunately not able to get to Renfrew Ferry, so now hopeful to be there in time for her departure.

No, I don't - looking at previous biggies as noted earlier, they tended to remain at Shieldhall for more than a few days, up to a week.

A case of watching the AIS websites - next destination usually appears some hours before departure.

Unless of course, there could be someone on the inside who can help us here, and could give us an early heads-up.......?

Thanks for the photo Willie……..notice she’s sitting quite high in the water, perhaps not fully laden on arrival, so perhaps a shorter-than-expected time at Shieldhall…………

Yes, thanks for the photos Willie, also thanks to on_the_clyde_ for the updates on departure time.

She left Shiedhall around 0730hrs this morning - afraid that’s a bit early for me to get to Renfrew Ferry in time – here’s to the next biggie!

Cape size bulker EQUATOR PROSPER is arriving into Hunterston this evening, she's 288m x 45m with a Gross Tonnage: 85868, Deadweight: 171191 t and draught 17.7m. She may be the last 'big' vessel to call at Hunterston given the downturn in the UK importing coal for power stations. https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/de ... id:732459/

Due to computer problems, been off-line for a few days - Hunterston is a bit out of my accessibility area - hopefully someone else might have got some pics of EQUATOR PROSPER?

MSC KORONI is the largest container ship (as I understand) to call at then Greenock Ocean Terminal to date. She's 258m in length with just over 32m beam. 3,842 TEU. Screenshot from the Greenock Webcam (http://saitek1.camstreams.com/) below.

She was pulled off the berth by the Anglegarth and Svitzer Milford just after 10.00am this morning and moved across to the anchorage to make way for a visit by Swan Hellenic's Minerva at 1.00pm. Minerva is leaving at 10.00pm tonight when MSC Koroni will presumably be moved back to GOT.

MSC KORONI seems to be getting shunted around a bit. She came up yesterday and obviously the berth was not ready for her. She had to do a couple of figures-of-eight off Innellan before heading up and loitering off Kilcreggan for a while. Only when another ship came downriver did she head up towards GOT.

Large bulker Federal Yukon (LOA 199m) currently rounding the Mull of Kintyre showing Glasgow as her destination on Marine Traffic. I'm not sure if this is an animal feed shipment but she is coming from Montreal and, unlike other animal feed shipments, doesn't appear to be calling at Belfast first.

Hopefully of use to someone.

Craig.

Well spotted Craig & from the Arrivals page I see that she is carrying wheat and due in tomorrow.
These large vessels are a joy to see in the upper reaches of the river & one of my best viewing places is from the Saltings underneath Erskine Bridge by which time she will be under tow and nice and close to the North bank.
Unfortunately I will not be able to see her this time & perhaps some kind soul will post a couple of photographs although she will be probably be making a night passage in the upper river.
Best Wishes to all, Iain

However, new arrival to the Clyde, currently alongside KGV dock - ELEFSIS (Reg'd Malta)
Length x Breadth 224.8m × 32.2m, dwt 72,873 t

Will be watching for her departure, get to Renfrew ferry for some pics.

Good spot Craig -

FLAG EVI – Panamanian cargo vessel, built 2014, 228.92m x 32.24m, deadweight 82,629t, so definitely a “biggie”.

At midnight she was due east of Ardrossan, passed GOT around 0200hrs where tugs ANGLEGARTH and AYTON CROSS (don’t know if there was a third) met and escorted her up-river to Shieldhall where she docked around 0500hrs this morning.

Looks like FLAG EVI will be departing today - showing a destination of "East Coast USA" (that covers a multitude!), tugs BRUISER and ANGLEGARTH are already in the Shieldhall area. AYTON CROSS and SVITZER MILFORD heading upriver, currently passing Dumbarton at 12 knots.
