According to Clyde River & Other Steamers 3rd Ed P74 (Duckworth & Langmuir) Princess Patricia and her sister Queen Mary had been acquired ini August 1914 by the Dumbarton & Balloch Joint Line Committee (which represented the interests of the North British & Caledonian Railway Companies) for service on Loch Lomond. Queen Mary is noted as never having sailed on the loch. Princess Patricia was used for evening cruises and loch service to Ardlui in late autumn and winter. She was sold in 1938 and broken up the following year.

The LMS connection is through the LMS having succeeded the Caledonian Railway in the joint line committee post 1923.
