Tragedy at London Airport

Post by Deepol » Tue Oct 27, 2015 1:10 pm

Remembering the 36 passengers and crew of BEA Vickers Vanguard G-APEE (Double Echo) who died in the early hours of October 27th 1965 when in foggy weather it crashed on attempting to land at London Airport as I think it was still called then.
The flight had come from Turnhouse in Edinburgh and a memorial is to be unveiled today in one of the main terminal buildings.
