BT/Yahoo email addresses

Post by mcmahos » Mon Oct 03, 2011 8:49 am

I'm aware of a possible problem where subscribers with BT and Yahoo email addresses don't always appear to be receiving their activation emails when registering.

Normally when you register on the site you should receive an activation email that contains a link which must be clicked, usually within about 10 minutes or so. It would appear, via the internet, that many users are experiencing similar issues with their email.

One solution is to go into your webmail for bt or yahoo and check the SPAM folder as many messages appear to be getting sent there.

In the interim, and as a temporary measure till I look in to the issue further, I've set the registrations options to be manually activated by an Admin. This should be done fairly quickly as between us we're never far from our email!
