Twaddle ! The tug is not gas fired, it has the regular Caterpillar machinery.

Can't say yes or no because I was not on board. Just read what is in professional issues and they also split!

If you copied the supposed details from Piet van Damme, as you usually do, he’s wrong too. The tug is Fi-Fi 1, with the starboard side funnel uptakes of similar size - the second is for the fire pump, whereas the port side has the usual one/large, one/small pipe exhausts.

If you are the one knowing better, please place your data here like others do!

My error was naming Sinke, when I meant van Damme which I have corrected. And, as previously stated, it has the usual Caterpillar machinery of a standard Damen ATD2412 twin-fin tractor, plus Fi-Fi 1 qualification.

Sir, with respect, do you have trouble in general with the English language, or is it simple comprehension? The headline for your #19 posting of the (6/2014) Damen press release reads “Damen, MTU and Svitzer will launch the world’s first RSD CNG tug in 2016". I don’t know what parallel universe you reside in, but where I am it is now 2014, 2015 begins in about 7 days, then 365 days after that it is the year 2016.

If you are suggesting that SVITZER OTWAY is the above detailed tug you are in error, wrong, sadly something you so often are.

As noted in my first posting, S/OTWAY (545007) is one of four Damen ATD2412 tractors delivered in recent weeks, the others are WAIMATA (545006), S/ESTON (545008) and S/BARGATE (545009). Incidentally, the tug that you gave the link to was S/ESTON and the language Vietnamese, not Chinese.

S/OTWAY, with Caterpillar main engines, differs from the usual Damen ATD2412s in that she has a Fi-Fi 1 classification, you may notice that there is a larger than usual secondary uptake on the starboard side for this.
