Under no circumstances could the same be said about Medway, this is now clearly a replica replacement.
Same thing goes for the tragic 1864-built City of Adelaide that languishes away on the original main building slip of the Ayrshire Dockyard at Irvine. She is so far gone now that nothing short of a replica replacement remains possible, notwithstanding the aspirations of the good folks down in Sunderland and over in Adelaide, Australia. Her iron frames have had it, all planking layers and fastenings have had it, her keel is no longer sound, her prow is detached from the hull, she is finished, the second-last example of the a composite-construction fast clipper in the world - allowed to deteriorate beyond economic and practicable salvage. A tragedy.

Just curious (as a non mariner), if those paddles are free-wheeling might they get quite a spin on when out in the open sea even in a modest swell?
