Members may have noticed that activty has been taking place at the Old Power Station Jetty at Yelland in the last 12 months. The last ship at the Jetty was the Meridian in July 88 . The owners of the site Notts Construction have been using the site for the importation of dredged material from the Bristol Channel on the Arco Dart and Welsh Piper and also imports of chippings from Glensanda which is saving many lorry miles going to Cornwall. Also the timber trade for Euroforest which was previously shipped from Bideford. Having learnt a new skill attached are a few phograghs.
