Just plough dredging, stirs up the silt and hopefully it's carried away on the ebb tide!

This is a regular Job Gillian Knight is ploughing the from the old Lock entrance to Victoria Dock the turning area used by barges to turn and drop up the River Hull on the tide. This enables them to come head downriver on the Tide used mainly by Rix Eagle , Swinderby and Paragon , others occasionally go upriver and if the new plant is built at Spillers old Mill there will be coasters using it regular as well.

George Have a look at this from Spencers. http://www.energyworkshull.co.uk/overview.htm Planning already given.
John Dean has already done a test run with Shovette and a some Lash barges to see if there could be any problems taking the Coasters up to the Old Spillers and Cocoa Mills site where some of the waste will be shipped in for turning into electricity.

Thanks Mike, can see where it is now. Surprised they got planning consent for this within the city. Good luck to them. It will never look like the artist's impression, that's for sure!!
