Paul, she was 'Poole Scene' when purchased, that wasn't her original name, she was bought from the owners of Ali Cat, though there is a wee bit more to it than that as the current company is an amalgamation of two. I think she came from the one which was bought over. She was built in 1974.

Hopefully others can pad this out a bit.

Built for Portsmouth Harbour Ferry in 1974 by James & Stone at Brightlingsea. First name "Southsea Queen". Later r/n "Hythe Hotspur". Sold to Blue Funnel 1997 and r/n "Poole Scene". Sold to Clyde Marine April 1999, r/n "Cruiser" 2001 following repairs after collision off Greenock with "Nordsee" in fog previous December.

Thanks folks. She seems familiar and I may have seen her in Southampton or a similar vessel.
