Stolen Model Boats...

Post by Norry M » Thu Nov 22, 2012 9:26 am

...Hi Guys...

The Clubhouse belonging to The Glasgow Richmond Model Boat Club was broken into this week...
Seven boats, mainly belonging to our senior members were stolen...
Here is a list of the stolen models...
a Perkasa fast patrol boat, an Aberdeen pilot boat, a Hong Kong ferry, a Dickie tug, a BRIGHT pink speedboat, a coaster, a catermeran speed boat, they also stole 6x futaba 2ch 40Mhz transmitters for the kids hands on boats...

Could everyone please keep a sharp lookout at Car Boot Sales etc or on the Internet for any of these model boats...

...Best Regards...Norry...

I recall a while back you posted similar message about a theft at Largs MBC. Were any of those models ever recovered?

...Hi Stuart...

None of the boats stolen from Largs M.B.C. have ever been recovered...

These guys have been trying for a few weeks now to get in...This time they turned up with the correct tools for the job and just cut their way in through the steel reinforced front door...

The angering fact of this new break in is that most of the boats belonged to our more senior members who cant carry the boats back & forth from the club...Thats why the boats were there...

...Best Regards...Norry...

Norry, maybe you can place pictures of these models so people can recognise them more easy?
