There is a report in the Herald this morning that Bruichladdich distillery on Islay are to start making gin in an old Lomond still named Ugly Betty rescued from the scrapheap, and using a variety of botanicals grown on the island.

Whatever next: Talisker Vodka? Oban Rum?

Rhum rum even? Eigg Flip? Barra Beer?
Eriskay Punch (you'll get one).

Doubt it Robin. As I understand it, it's going to be limited edition stuff and probably with a price tag to match. Harrods and Fortnum and Mason only methinks.
