The man was also having problems to tighten her stern line around it!
It's a 'wind farm transfer ladder' !!

I agree with your hmmmmm.
I would have thought it difficult to hold a vessel of this size so close to a support column, to allow a man to step from the ship. But the website says that is what it's for!

That exactly is what I meant about that George. I think this gives more problems to the crew than profit. Even like you told, by mooring.
