Following on from Lairdsfox tale. Her running mate was the former W.A.Savage Dutch built Greenfield and after alterations in 1966 in Manchester Dry Docks where her wooden hatch boards etc were replaced with Cargospeed folding ones she took her place on the Ardrossan/Belfast steel run.
In 1970 during a spell where one ship could cope with steel on offer, she was put on the spot charter market and on 06/02/1970 she sailed from Middlesbrough with 254 tons of Steel plates for Cork. and steel columns for Passage West. She capsized off Teesmouth due to "improper loading and stowage leading to inadequate stability" Her crew were all lost.
