Cardiff Class bulker CAPE RODNEY fitting out at Govan in 1976. By this time they were Scottish Ship Management. She's still around as CHL INNOVATOR a bulk sugar carrier.

A couple of shots of CAPE FRANKLIN in Glasgow under her own name and changing hands. She became VITTORIA GARDELLA in 1974 and was scrapped as VITO in 1988 at Alang.

Having completed discharging a coal cargo in Rothesay Dock Cape Arnhem has just passed under the Erskine Bridge. While in Rothesay Dock her port of registry was changed from Glasgow to Bermuda. Built 1981 in Brazil??

Indeed. Built by the CCN Maua yard at Niteroi in 1981. She was sold in 1986 becoming ACACIA and after a few more names was converted to a dredger in 2003 and I think still operates as XIN HAI XIANG.
She had sisters CAPES FINISTERRE and TRAFALGAR and BARON KINNAIRD. I'm sure it was CAPE FINISTERRE which I saw at Bowling in a snowstorm heading up to Rothesay Dock!!

CAPE WRATH built at Horten in 1968 laid up in Glasgow in July 1976 and preparing to sail following purchase by an Indian company closely affiliated to Mackinnon, Mackenzie of BI fame.
They renamed her CHANDA and she paid a return visit to the Clyde in 1981 to Meadowside.
She had a good life with them and finally went for scrap at Bombay where she arrived on 11th April 1991.
