I see I have a post Some Shots of Orsova but nothing there! I'll redress that now with some shots of the two Orient Line passenger ships to bear the name of the Romanian town on the Danube.
Firstly ORSOVA of 1909 completed by John Brown's and broken up at Bo'ness in October 1936.

My favourite Orient Liner completed at Barrow in 1954 and broken up at Kaohsiung in December 1974 instead of CANBERRA which was at the time in line for sale but was reprieved.
Sadly the only time I saw ORSOVA was on a miserable day in Southampton when she was waiting to go to Kaohsiung and my photos never came out.
