Three Funnels in New York ?

Post by Colin Campbell » Tue May 13, 2014 7:19 am

Old postcard I've been given. Dont suppose many of this view were sold!. Perhaps under sub-heading of New York Tugs or just "More Steam MacPhail"
Guessing it is New York from the 'Cunard' sign but what ship? Colin

Possibly BISMARCK which became White Star's MAJESTIC or VATERLAND which became US Lines' LEVIATHAN. Don't think it's IMPERATOR which became Cunard's BERENGARIA because she had the large eagle attached to the bow which was included in her overall length although with the smoke it's not too clear.
