James Glover of Paisley - Craigielea

Post by knivsta » Sun Sep 11, 2011 10:08 pm

I am looking for information about a James Glover who appears in census returns as a barge owner and a ship's captain. He was born in Paisley in 1845. On this site I have found a James Glover who bought 'Craigielea' in 1891. Does anyone have any information about James Glover or any idea how I can trace his life at sea, Thanks,
Knivsta

Sorry that this is late, I think the James Glover you are looking for is my Gt Grandfather, his son Robert was my Grandfather.

Thank you for replying. I just came across your reply today. Do you have any further information about him - he is my great grandfather as well. His son James was my grandfather,

Maggie
