HMS Sesame
Destroyer, S Class 2nd Order – F.5A, H.35
Laid down 13/3/1918 and launched by William Denny & Brothers Dumbarton, Yard No 1103, on 30/12/1918. Sold 4/5/1934 to Cashmore, Newport.
1075t legend
276ft x 26ft 8in x 9ft mean
2 shaft Brown-Curtis, single reduction geared turbines, 3 Yarrow boilers, Oil, 27,000shp giving 36 knots.
3 x 4in 45 cal QF Mk IV, 1 x 2pdr pom-pom, and 4 x 21in TTs (2 x 2).
