Launched by Clyde Shipbuilding Company Port Glasgow, Yard No 306, on 30/12/1913, as the Ferencz Ferdinand, a Passenger/Cargo steamship for the Royal Hungarian Sea Navigation Company, Adria, Fiume. Sold for Scrapping in May 1947

347.4ft x 46.4ft
Single screw, Quad expansion, 4cyl, 497nhp giving 13.5 knots

Completed in May 1914
1919 to Adria S.A. di Nav., Fiume
1921 renamed ADRIA
1924 to Lloyd Triestino
1935 renamed PILSNA
1936 renamed ADRIA
12/2/1941 captured by HMS Ceres and placed in the Liner Division
2/4/1942 taken up for service
29/1/1943 commissioned as HMS ADRIA, base ship for the Persian Gulf at Bombay
December 1943 renamed HMS GOMBROON and moved to Hormuz
November 1944 base ship for Persian Gulf Escorts
April 1945 Bombay
May 1945 Rangoon with Burma Coast Escort Force
December 1945 Laid up
