Launched by Fleming & Ferguson Paisley, Yard No 426, on 23/4/1914 as a Pilot Cutter for the Government of Queensland, Brisbane. Scrapped in Australia 1955

Single screw, steam

Completed in July 1914
23/1/1943 requistioned by the RAN for use as an Examination Vessel, and commissioned as HMAS Matthew Flinders
1946 Returned

Model is in the Queensland Maritime Museum, Brisbane, and images from John Wilson
