20-04-1972 in collission with S.A. PIONEER in position 33°48'S-26°47'E during a trip from Ras Tanura to Moanda and cought fire. Towed to Monet Bay, but kept on leaking. 170 miles SE of Port Elisabeth sunk at 13-05-1972 in position 36°31'S-26°31'E by air bombing. 19 people died in the accident.
