2 cylinder Compound from Kreber boiler 64 m².

In the fleet In 1937 in charter.
Sold 08-10-1938 out of charter due to selling renamed TITAN by NV Schroefstoomsleepboot Maatschappij "Adriaan" (Adriaan Volker) - Dordrecht.

02-07-1940 seized by the Kriegsmarine t.b.v. Operation Seelöwe named O.23.S- Oostende.
11-07-1941 to "Admiral Frankreich".
11-11-1941 renamed 550 in service as target tug by Schiffsartillerieschule in Sassnitz.
In 1943 as 550 to Reichs Wasserstrassen Verwaltung - Rostock.
In 1944 as 550 to Bundes Schleppbetrieb - Kiel.
Never found back.

The TITAN was owned by Bos, Dordrecht.
The name Bundes Schlepp Betrieb could not be in force in 1944.
In 'Die deutschen Kriegsschiffe 1815-1945'by Groner she is listed as a motortug. with 240 apk., which maybe wrong.

Maybe during the German time they removed the steam engine? Could be Jaap! Germans at that time where proud of there Diesels! Only, during that time there is written a lot of bull shit! From both sides of course! So facts between 1940 and 1945 here with me are always a little bit hmmmm :roll:
