FL.7723 connected to a Hamworthy compressor nr.102.901;all generators from Delco/Remy.
750 bhp; after 1971, 1.000 bhp.
10 knots; after 1971, 12 knots
15 tons; after 1971, 18 tons.
In the fleet 28-04-1970 named MARGAM from The Alexandra Towing Co.Ltd.- Liverpool.
Sold 06-11-1989 as RILLAND to J.Koek - Dordrecht.

From 1953 till 27-04-1969 as CAEDMON CROSS with Tees Towing (W.H.Crostwaite) Co.Ltd.- Middlesbrough.
27-04-1969 renamed MARGAM by The Alexandra Towing Co.Ltd.- Liverpool.
In 1984 brought in with NV Bureau Wijsmuller - IJmuiden.
22-11-1989 sunk in Golf of Biscay under strange circumstances in position 47.03.71 N.- 06.11.W (Golf de Gascogne). Three(!) man crew rescued by the Philippinian bulkcarrier GENERAL VALERIANUS. She was on a trip to Oporto picking up some scrap-cutters for Dordrecht.

As built, as CAEDMON CROSS on trials in the Clyde. A favourite from my early days on the Tees!

Back in 1959/1960 I used to be able to walk onto the Tees Towing wharf at Middlesbrough (where the Svitzer berth is now) and look down on this fine fleet!
