TRAFALGAR (2) (1966 - 1992)
O.N. 308683. 173g. 0n. 103' 0" x 27' 0" x 11' 0"
8-cyl. 2 S.C.S.A. (10½" x 13½") Crossley HGN8 type turbocharged engine by Crossley Bros.Ltd., Manchester, geared to a fixed pitch propeller. (per original design spec - 1200bhp. @ 420 revs. 16.5 tons bollard pull. 11¾ Kts) 1,350bhp. 12 kts. 21 tons bollard pull.
11.1966: Completed by Richard Dunston (Hessle) Ltd., Hessle (Yard No. S.834) for the Alexandra Towing Company Ltd.
1992: Sold to a Piraeus based shipbroker, Mr Tassos.
10.6.1992: Sailed from Liverpool as FAL enroute to Port Penrhyn for bottom cleaning and paint, thence to Greece.
1992: Sold to Proodos Naftiki Eteria (Megalohari Hellenic Tugboats, managers), Piraeus and renamed MEGALOCHARI VII.
1999: Sold to Agia Marina Naftiki Eteria (Nicolas E. Vernicos Shipping Company Ltd., managers) and renamed AGIA MARINA.
2000: Vernicos Argonaftis Maritime Company, managers.
16.5.2011: Arrived at Aliaga for demolition.

This month the tug was delivered to the shipbreakers at Aliaga, Turkey.
