Two, 8-cyl. 4 S.C.S.A. (254 x 305mm) Ruston 8RKCM vee type engines by Ruston Diesels Ltd., Newton-le-Willows, geared to a single controllable pitch propeller operating within a Kort steerable nozzle. 3,500bhp. 13½ kts. 50 tons bollard pull.
16.7.1974: Ordered from Richard Dunston (Hessle) Ltd., Hessle (Yard No. H.909) by Alexandra Towing Company Ltd.
21.12.1976: Launched.
15.6.1977: Completed (£660,000).
1984: Sold to the Government of The Islamic Republic of Iran (Ports and Shipping Organization) and renamed GHORBAN.
11.2010: Still in service.
