A well-done fake to make a Good Luck card. But which tug?
It's definitely Hamburg, and the funnel points to Petersen & Alpers.
and it s a post-WW2 photo (Liberty ship right background, and the type of davits)
I thought that the life-rings would make it easy, but although confirming Hamburg, I think that the name has been doctored a little. The right ring is blurred, but the left one looks as if it should be five letters, but there is no obvious match.

At present my guess is BAUMWALL (2), because of the port-side extension to the bridge
See download/file.php?id=51566&mode=view
But did any others have this modification?

Hi David,
I can't recognize that strange sort of a bridge wing on her Port side. There also was an AUGUSTE very similar to BAUMWALL, but I don't have a Port-picture of that ship.
