The new engine in 1905 was made by Willoughby Bros, Plymouth. Riley of Stockton-on-Tees built the new boiler.
It is understood that LEOPOLD I & II had been sold by SARH to a scrap dealer (presumably in Belgium or Netherlands), who had already removed the engine and boiler from LEOPOLD II.
I suppose that both LEOPOLD I & II originally had identical engines: C2cy 30nhp 180ihp Ateliers & Constructions Bonsan, Belgium
