Woody

Post by yorkieman » Sat Jul 05, 2014 7:33 am

Just to let everyone know (with his permission) that our much valued contributor Woody (John McQuaid) has been laid low by a broken pelvis due to an accident at home, and is able to use the computer only with difficulty just now.
I am sure everyone will wish him a speedy recovery and early return to Clyde Maritime and especially this photographic forum.

I hope he was not climbing a ladder like a certain other person. Whatever, hopefully a speedy recovery John.

You got it in one, Brian, but did not want to raise painful memories in The Ancient Wan.

One would hope and trust that Woody was the beneficiary of a tad more sympathy and understanding than afforded to another certain unfortunate personage.

Of course, much more sympathy, but apparently it involved only 2 missed steps on a step-ladder, some folk rise to greater heights in life, but have further to

fall .....

Many thanks to one and all for your kind words.
It was just two steps after putting up a hanging basket
