Tug BATTLER left Greenock around noon today (BST) on her own, heading up-river - currently passing Clydebank. What is she going to do? Don't know, gonna just wait and see.........

I suspect she was assisting with sinking the barge and floating off HMS MEDWAY, ready for towing down to Scotstoun tomorrow - see post by bgoutcher in seperate thread HMS MEDWAY.

Surprisingly, currently (1930hrs BST) now departing Shieldhall, tugs ANGLEGARTH, SVITZER MILFORD and AYTON CROSS assisting – have just done the 180 degree turn, now heading downriver.
Destination Glensanda, in the Western Highlands.
This must be one of the quickest turn-around for a while – at Shieldhall for only 11 hours?

Would expect an exodus of some (not all) in the next couple of days – watch for tugs coming up-river to escort the warships down-river.

Currently in the Bay of Biscay, destination showing as Gibraltar with an ETA of 2300hrs on Sunday 29th October.
The Departures Section of this website intimates she left her moorings on Wednesday, and with an (ultimate) destination of Taizhou, China.
Having arrived off Holy Isle on 2nd October in from Montreal, that’s a long time to be idle…..

Bulk Carrier SEA EAGLE – 223.7m x 32.2m - came up the river today, assisted by tugs ANGLEGARTH and SVITZER MILFORD.
Inbound from Belfast carrying animal feed, tied up at Shieldhall at 1728hrs tonight.
Hopefully, will watch for her departure to get some pics.

Liking your pics a lot – No 2 of 3 is stunning, perfectly framed, great clarity and the contours of the hills stand out – well done!
Still waiting to see her leave Shieldhall……..

Unfortunately I didn’t get to see her – was watching Marine Traffic, but SEA EAGLE’s destination didn’t change to “FOR ORDER” until she was released from her moorings at Shieldhall around 1315hrs today.
I had noticed the tugs heading upriver from Greenock around 1100hrs, but although my workplace is only about 30 minutes from Renfrew Ferry, I was unable to get there at the time she would be passing.
Once again, your pics are excellent Willie – perfect detail in sharpness and clarity – well done sir!
As expected, she is now moored off Whiting Bay, Arran –and sadly, apparently waiting for something to do……

Currently approx. 200nm east of Gibraltar making 10.9 knots, due to pass through the Straits Saturday afternoon – apparently still on target for ETA Glasgow 1000hrs 14th March.

Done some quick calcs, think this may have been a scheduled stop – approx. 1400 nautical miles to Glasgow, so needs to average 16 knots (non-stop) to meet ETA Glasgow 1000hrs 14th March.
However having said that, just noted her speed on approach to Gibraltar is only around 12 knots……
Need to check again tomorrow……

Firstly – POMORZE:-
2030hrs – showing as being “underway” (albeit 0.6 knots and 45 minutes old)) ex Cadiz Anchorage, having been there since 0853hrs this morning. Assuming she is actually on the move, would need to make in excess of 22 knots to meet her ETA Glasgow of 1000hrs 14th March Glasgow – don’t see that happening.
Secondly – YEOMAN BANK:-
Self-discharging Bulk Carrier - 204.95m × 27.26m, deadweight 43728t - arrived Shieldhall 1738hrs 11th March, carrying aggregates from Glensanda.

Efficient turn-around here (benefit of being “self-discharging"?)– less than 14 hours since arrival, she departed Shieldhall at 0710hrs this morning, heading for Garrucha in Spain.
POMORZE
Not sure here – was still at Cadiz Anchorage this morning, then appeared to head for Cadiz, got tug assistance for a short period and then reversed course as if resuming course for Glasgow. AIS coverage doesn’t extend much beyond 12 miles off-shore around Cadiz, last signal was about an hour ago, at which point she was making 3.9 knots (only), heading 262 degrees.
Need to wait, see if she appears on AIS when turning north along the Portuguese coastline.

Oddly, still showing ETA Glasgow 1000hrs 14th March – if speed of 12 knots is maintained, I reckon the wee small hours of Saturday 17th; if she can average 15 knots from now, then around dawn on Friday 16th March.
Time will tell…......
